Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Behavioral Health Therapist IV to provide therapeutic services and support to patients and families.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a range of therapeutic services, psychoeducational programming, and behavioral interventions to assist clients in achieving treatment goals
• Assess and diagnose mental health and/or substance use disorders through evidence-based assessments
• Provide clinical supervision to team members seeking licensure and mentor graduate students during internships

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Master's Degree, Ph.D., PsyD, or EdD in Mental Health, Social Work, Counseling, Substance Use Disorders, or a related field
• Five years of experience post-licensure, with specialization in child and adolescent behavioral health
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 3 months of hire
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification within 6 months of hire, including in-person training for non-violent crisis intervention
