Job Summary

To support patient care initiatives, the full-time Licensed Bilingual Case Manager Assistant will assist the RN Case Manager in case management functions, including service authorization, treatment plan reviews, and ongoing communication with healthcare teams, while working remotely.

Key responsibilities
  • Assist in the review of medical data and update case management plans by coordinating with providers, payers, and patients
  • Maintain documentation of case actions in the computer system and prepare reports for payers detailing case management activities
  • Negotiate with providers to maximize medical benefits for patients and maintain ongoing communication to ensure their needs are met
Required qualifications
  • Current active and unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse or Medical Assistant/Nursing Assistant Certification
  • Five years of varied clinical experience preferred, or three years in a specialty field
  • Proficiency in both English and Spanish, with strong reading and writing abilities in each language
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite products
  • Knowledge of community resources and funding sources for patient assistance
