Licensed Call Center Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Call Center Underwriter - Commercial Lines.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle incoming calls regarding endorsement activity, coverage questions, renewals, and issuing binders, certificates, and policies
• Quote new business and policies for clients and prepare policy change requests
• Cross-sell additional coverages to existing clients and report new claims to the company

Required Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree, preferably in business, or equivalent experience
• Two to four years of experience in servicing or selling Property & Casualty Insurance
• Active 2-20 General Lines Agent (Property and Casualty) license required
• Experience with commercial policies such as BOP, Workers' Compensation, and others
• Previous call center experience is a plus
