Licensed Care Manager, Youth

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Care Manager, BH (Youth / Idaho) - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and review mental health and substance abuse services for medical necessity and effectiveness
• Provide crisis intervention, telephone triage, and perform concurrent reviews for care
• Develop and implement discharge plans in collaboration with providers and facilities

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Current state licensure as CEAP, LMSW, LCSW, LSW, LPC, or RN
• Minimum of 2 years of post-degree experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or substance abuse settings
• Knowledge of utilization management procedures and community resources for mental health and substance abuse
• Experience in inpatient and/or outpatient settings
• Understanding of DSM V or the most current diagnostic edition
