Licensed Civil Structural Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Civil Structural Engineer for Federal Services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and analyze changes to existing power plants and new plant systems, including static and dynamic analysis for seismic loads
• Develop specifications for structural components and support engineering design and analysis projects in the power industry
• Perform site walkdowns to identify design solutions and develop cost-effective problem resolutions while managing project design modifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
• Professional Engineering License
• Minimum 10 years of experience with power system design
• Experience working on DOE federal projects
• Knowledge of discipline-specific computer analysis codes and familiarity with concrete and steel design codes
