Job Summary
Managing complex and high-exposure claims, the full-time Licensed Claim Specialist - Large Loss will gather and review information, determine coverage, and conduct investigations while maintaining customer contact and ensuring compliance with state and federal laws.
Key responsibilities
- Perform timely claim tasks, document files, and manage activities to ensure fair resolution
- Make informed coverage decisions and evaluate subrogation potential based on policy language and laws
- Conduct thorough investigations, analyze potential exposures, and formulate action plans for claims
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent education/experience
- Minimum of five years of claim handling or insurance-related experience required
- Completion of INS, AIC, or CPCU preferred
- Experience with General Liability and/or Professional Liability preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain state adjusting license requirements
