Job Summary

A company is looking for a Claims Adjuster responsible for investigating and managing casualty claims.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate and research casualty claims, determining coverage and negotiating settlements
• Document findings and manage claims until resolution, adhering to legal and regulatory standards
• Provide guidance to less experienced claims representatives and ensure data integrity in claims management systems

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Completion of Licensing exam and continuing education requirements for assigned jurisdictions
• Five (5) or more years of experience in claims or related work experience
• Progress toward an insurance designation such as AIC/AIM/CPCU/SCLA programs
• Successful completion of an internal special training program for additional types of claims
