Job Summary
A company is looking for a Claims Adjuster responsible for investigating and managing casualty claims.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and research casualty claims, determining coverage and negotiating settlements
- Document findings and manage claims until resolution, adhering to legal and regulatory standards
- Provide guidance to less experienced claims representatives and ensure data integrity in claims management systems
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Completion of Licensing exam and continuing education requirements for assigned jurisdictions
- Five (5) or more years of experience in claims or related work experience
- Progress toward an insurance designation such as AIC/AIM/CPCU/SCLA programs
- Successful completion of an internal special training program for additional types of claims
