Licensed Claims Counsel

Job Summary

Handling title insurance and related claims, the full-time Licensed Claims Counsel will investigate, evaluate, and negotiate claim resolutions while working remotely in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate and evaluate coverage and potential resolutions for claims
• Manage claims and litigation, including the retention of outside counsel as needed
• Negotiate with claimants, opposing counsel, and third parties for resolution

Required qualifications

• Licensed and in good standing in any jurisdiction
• 3-5 years of experience in title insurance, litigation, or related fields preferred
• Basic knowledge of real property and insurance law
• Advanced proficiency in Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a team-oriented environment
