Job Summary

A company is looking for a Claims Counsel to handle title insurance and related claims.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, and determine coverage and possible claim resolutions
• Negotiate with claimants, opposing counsel, and third parties for resolution
• Maintain documentation of claim file activity and manage claims to final resolution

Required Qualifications

• 3 - 5 years of experience in title insurance, related field, or litigation preferred
• Basic knowledge of real property and insurance law
• Licensed and in good standing in any jurisdiction
• Advanced proficiency in Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
