Licensed Claims Counsel

Job Summary

Managing and resolving claims initiated under title insurance policies, the full-time Licensed Claims Counsel will interpret business environments, negotiate settlements, and handle a personal caseload, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and resolve claims related to title insurance policies and products
• Negotiate settlements and claim resolutions with claimants, third parties, and opposing counsel
• Retain and manage outside counsel and legal representation for insured clients

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctorate and licensed to practice law in at least one jurisdiction
• Typically requires 2+ years of related work experience
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred
