Job Summary
Managing and resolving claims initiated under title insurance policies, the full-time Licensed Claims Counsel will interpret business environments, negotiate settlements, and handle a personal caseload, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and resolve claims related to title insurance policies and products
- Negotiate settlements and claim resolutions with claimants, third parties, and opposing counsel
- Retain and manage outside counsel and legal representation for insured clients
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctorate and licensed to practice law in at least one jurisdiction
- Typically requires 2+ years of related work experience
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred
