Licensed Clinical Admissions Specialist

Job Summary

To enhance access to mental health care for underserved populations, the full-time Licensed Clinical Admissions Specialist will conduct brief mental health assessments, coordinate admissions, and serve as a subject matter expert on state contracts and admission requirements in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Complete brief mental health assessments and obtain collateral clinical information for adolescents and families via telehealth
• Serve as the clinical subject matter expert on state-specific contracts and admission pathways, ensuring timely progression through the intake process
• Communicate with external stakeholders, including managed care organizations and state agencies, to coordinate admissions and address barriers to care

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in a clinical discipline and fully licensed for a minimum of 2 years (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LCMHC, or equivalent)
• 8+ years of relevant patient experience or equivalent performance
• Experience conducting brief assessments and/or triage, ideally in a remote or telehealth setting
• Strong organizational skills and comfort navigating changing workflows in a scaling organization
• Intrinsic motivation to connect patients and families with the right care as quickly as possible
