Job Summary
Working remotely on a part-time basis, the Licensed Clinical Care Navigator will manage phone-based interactions with members and providers, providing utilization management for behavioral health and substance use disorder services, conducting crisis call management, and facilitating access to Employee Assistance Program services.
Key responsibilities
- Manage EAP service requests, conducting risk assessments and providing telephonic consultations
- Perform utilization management reviews and authorizations for behavioral health and substance use disorder services
- Handle crisis call management by following established protocols and connecting members to appropriate resources
Required qualifications
- Full clinical licensure with a master's degree in social work, counseling, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years' post-licensure experience in healthcare or behavioral health settings
- Knowledge of utilization management procedures and community resources for mental health and substance abuse
- Strong computer skills to navigate various systems
- Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, or equivalent
