Licensed Clinical Counsellor

Job Summary

Providing remote overnight support, the full-time Licensed Clinical Counsellor will engage with clients through telephonic and video counselling, offering crisis management and developing treatment plans while maintaining client confidentiality.

Key responsibilities

• Provide single session telephonic and video counselling, including crisis management and in-the-moment support
• Thoroughly assess clients for appropriateness for short-term counselling and manage high-risk calls
• Collaboratively develop treatment plans and maintain clinical documentation in the case management system

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, counselling, or psychology
• Licensure or clinical certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of direct client-contact experience in counselling or mental health services
• Experience with clinical assessment tools and short-term counselling modalities such as CBT and Solution-Focused therapy
• Training in crisis intervention and experience with high-risk clients is beneficial
