Licensed Clinical Counselor

Job Summary

Providing remote support, the full-time Licensed Clinical Counselor for the Employee Assistance Program will apply advanced clinical counseling techniques to assist members with mental health and emotional concerns through various communication channels, including video, live chat, and phone, during the Tuesday to Saturday shift from 11:00 am to 7:30 pm EST.

Key responsibilities

• Conducts telephone counseling to address members' mental health, emotional disorders, and Worklife concerns
• Develops strategies for intensive case management and provides consultations for clinical risk cases
• Maintains accurate documentation to meet risk management and regulatory requirements

Required qualifications

• 1+ year of hands-on crisis intervention experience with real-time de-escalation and risk assessment
• Valid unrestricted independent professional behavioral health clinical license (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LMHC, LCMHC, LICSW, LISW, or Clinical Psychologist)
• Master's Degree in a behavioral health counseling profession
• Availability to work holidays as needed
