Licensed Clinical Director

Job Summary

To ensure the clinical integrity and sensitivity of mental health services for the Veterans Health Administration, the part-time Licensed Clinical Director will oversee interviewing operations, develop crisis protocols, and provide specialized training for call center personnel while working fully remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enforce standardized operating procedures for identifying and assisting respondents in acute distress
• Create and deliver comprehensive training modules on mental health topics and trauma-informed communication techniques for interviewers
• Provide clinical support and implement staff wellbeing programs to address vicarious trauma and prevent burnout among interviewers

Required qualifications

• Minimum bachelor's degree in a relevant mental health field; master's degree preferred
• Active, unrestricted independent clinical license in a behavioral health discipline in at least one U.S. state or territory
• Extensive work experience in mental health, specifically in psychology, psychiatry, social work, or counseling
• Successful completion of a comprehensive Federal background check prior to interacting with Veteran data
• Familiarity with Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing (CATI) environments and crisis escalation pathways preferred
