Job Summary
To support pharmacy benefit management initiatives, the remote Licensed Clinical Pharmacist will develop clinical prior authorization criteria, collaborate on Preferred Drug List strategies, and provide consultation on pharmacy-related matters while ensuring operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct evidence-based evaluations for Therapeutic Class Review (TCR) development and maintain TCRs for Preferred Drug List management
- Develop clinical prior authorization recommendations and supporting documentation for presentation to the P&T Committee and DUR Board
- Support client accounts during implementation and ongoing operations, serving as a subject matter expert for pharmacy product development
Required qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required
- Active Pharmacist license is required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmacy benefit management
- Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting a Medicaid PBM account
- Demonstrated knowledge of Medicaid requirements at the state and federal levels
