Licensed Clinical Pharmacist Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinical Investigative Pharmacist Specialist to support VA PBM Clinical Informatics and EHR Modernization.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate pharmacy-related concerns and develop mitigation strategies before and after EHR Go-Lives
• Engage with VA Medical Centers to support operational readiness during EHR deployment
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure the functionality of pharmacy informatics systems

Required Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and a pharmacy degree (BS Pharmacy and/or PharmD) with an active pharmacist license
• Experience investigating EHR behavior/configuration issues, preferably with Oracle Cerner EHR
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives and apply regulatory/quality standards
• Prior experience supporting VA EHRM or federal EHR Go-Live activities is desired
• Familiarity with VA pharmacy data systems and Lean Portfolio Management methodologies is a plus
