Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Job Summary

To support the Defense Health Agency's Enterprise Tele-Behavioral Health Clinical Services, the remote Licensed Clinical Social Worker will provide virtual counseling, develop treatment plans, and assess patients' fitness for duty while maintaining comprehensive documentation.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform brief, evidence-based virtual individual and group counseling for patients with acute mental health conditions
• Develop and document comprehensive treatment plans, utilizing the DSM for diagnosis and therapeutic planning
• Assess and complete evaluations related to fitness for duty and other military administrative processes, preparing necessary reports

Required qualifications:

• Master's degree in social work from an accredited institution
• Two years of post-graduate experience as a Clinical Social Worker using virtual platforms
• Current, active, valid clinical license to practice Clinical Social Work independently
• Experience with military health systems is preferred, but virtual health experience outside the MHS is acceptable
• Ability to obtain and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
