Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Job Summary

To support a compassionate oncology care team, the full-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker will provide triage, assessment, and brief interventions for patients with advanced social needs, working remotely during a four-day workweek from 9:30 AM to 8:00 PM EST.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial and safety assessments for patients, delivering brief interventions and stabilization strategies
• Utilize clinical judgment to determine escalation pathways for behavioral health crises and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain high-quality documentation of assessments, safety plans, and referrals while participating in case conferences to support coordinated care

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited program
• Current, unrestricted master's-level social work license (e.g., LCSW/LISW) in primary practice state
• Minimum of 3 years' clinical social work experience in a healthcare setting, with a focus on crisis intervention and behavioral health
• Proven competence in risk assessment and crisis management, along with strong telehealth clinical skills
• Excellent clinical judgment and ability to make time-sensitive decisions while working remotely
