Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Job Summary

Providing virtual care primarily through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, the remote Licensed Clinical Social Worker will manage individual patient visits, conduct needs assessments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to support cancer patients' mental health needs.

Key responsibilities

• Care for patients by addressing their mental health needs and concerns during individual visits
• Screen for unmet care needs and document all patient interactions in the EHR system
• Establish trusting relationships with patients and caregivers, collaborating closely with the interdisciplinary care team

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and Master of Social Work (MSW) or equivalent program with an active Licensed Clinical Social Work (LCSW) license
• At least two years of clinical work experience, particularly with cancer patients, and proficiency in CBT or similar techniques
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and willingness to obtain licensure in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut
• Comfortable using technology including Slack, Zoom, Google Suite, and EHR systems
• Strong relational skills and ability to work effectively with diverse populations
