Licensed Commercial Attorney

Job Summary

Supporting a leading life sciences and biotech company, the full-time Licensed Commercial Attorney will draft, negotiate, and manage a variety of commercial agreements while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to mitigate legal risks and advance organizational objectives remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate, and secure approvals for a broad range of commercial agreements
• Analyze legal rights and obligations to provide practical advice that supports the company's commercial goals
• Develop and maintain contract templates and provide legal guidance on applicable laws and regulations

Required qualifications

• Qualified attorney in good standing with a license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
• Minimum of five years of experience advising on commercial contracts, preferably in-house within life sciences or regulated industries
• Experience with non-federal government procurement processes, including contract negotiation and management
• Expertise in drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements
• Proven ability to analyze and resolve legal and business issues of varying complexity
