Licensed Commercial Counsel
Job Summary
Providing exceptional legal services to internal business units, the full-time Licensed Commercial Counsel will draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the drafting, review, negotiation, and management of various complex commercial agreements
- Advise internal stakeholders on complex commercial, operational, and regulatory matters, translating legal concepts into clear guidance
- Develop and enhance contract templates, negotiation playbooks, and workflow improvements to support the commercial contracting process
Required qualifications
- J.D. or equivalent law degree from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- 6+ years of legal experience with a law firm or corporate legal department handling contract matters
- Proven ability to learn the legal and business drivers of complex contracts
- Experience handling and negotiating contracts and related agreements preferred
