Licensed Commercial Law Director
Job Summary
To support a growing legal team, the remote Licensed Commercial Law Director will oversee the entire contract lifecycle, revamp the contract review process with a focus on AI integration, and manage vendor contracts while leading a team in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Revamp and manage the contract review process for efficiency, emphasizing AI utilization
- Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, including drafting, negotiation, and execution
- Lead a team while collaborating with enterprise revenue teams to support business development efforts
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited Law School and Bar Membership in good standing
- 10+ years of experience in an in-house legal team or law firm, specifically in commercial contracts
- Hands-on experience with AI tools for legal work, including contract review and negotiation
- Experience evaluating and implementing legal AI or contract lifecycle management platforms
- Proven track record of people management and mentoring direct reports
