Licensed Commercial Marine Underwriter
Job Summary
Seeking an entrepreneurial Licensed Commercial Marine Underwriter, the full-time remote position will manage relationships with dealers and clients while driving product development and market strategies for physical damage insurance in agricultural, construction, and material handling equipment.
Key responsibilities:
- Pitch and close prospective dealers and clients, managing ongoing relationships
- Conduct competitive analyses and implement responses to trends in physical damage insurance
- Develop and implement go-to-market product plans to support launches and enhancements
Required qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in property and casualty insurance production, underwriting, or product management
- Licensed P&C producer in the US or Canada, or willingness to obtain a producer license
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience/certifications
- Experience in program/affinity/association business is a plus
- Strong analytical skills, including financial and competitive analysis
