Job Summary
To support a growing commercial title operation, the full-time Licensed Commercial Underwriting Counsel will drive the development of an end-to-end operational process for title transactions, manage all technical aspects from underwriting to post-close, and utilize data for decision-making while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Drive the development of a new, end-to-end operational process for title transactions
- Manage all technical aspects of commercial title transactions, including underwriting and post-close operations
- Utilize data to inform decision-making and implement continual process improvements
Required qualifications
- General understanding of underwriting regional or national commercial real estate transactions for title insurance policies
- 5-10 years of title underwriting experience
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree and admission to the bar in at least one US state
- Proven history of managing and serving customers effectively
