Job Summary
Supporting a nationally recognized nonprofit higher education organization, the full-time Licensed Contracts Attorney will manage a substantial commercial contracts backlog by reviewing, revising, negotiating, and processing a high volume of agreement redlines in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Review, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements while collaborating with internal stakeholders
- Manage high-volume contract review workflows and redline negotiations during a critical renewal cycle
- Quickly adapt to template agreements and organizational contracting standards
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial agreements
- Prior experience in an in-house legal department or contracts management preferred
- Strong ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Licensed and in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- Excellent analytical skills and professional references
