Licensed Corporate Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Corporate Counsel to join their in-house legal team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal support in pre-litigation and litigation matters, including borrower defaults and collections
• Analyze and negotiate vendor contracts while advising on related risks
• Stay updated on banking and lending regulations impacting the company and its BaaS initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and admission to practice law in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• 3+ years of experience, preferably in the banking or financial services industry
• In-depth experience with contract negotiation and litigation strategies
• Ability to interpret and apply banking laws and regulations in innovative environments
• Strong analytical skills and judgment with a practical approach to balancing competing risks
