Licensed Corporate Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Corporate Counsel to join their legal team on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate various agreements, including SaaS contracts and vendor agreements
• Support the legal team in responding to RFPs and customer contractual requirements
• Conduct legal research on EdTech issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams for legal guidance

Qualifications and Skills

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Licensed and in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar
• 5-7 years of legal experience, preferably in-house or with a law firm
• Experience in SaaS services and software licensing, with knowledge of relevant privacy terms
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
