Licensed Corporate Counsel - Privacy
Job Summary
To support a growing legal team, the full-time Corporate Counsel - Commercial Transactions & Privacy will manage sophisticated commercial transactions, provide legal guidance on privacy and cybersecurity, and collaborate with various business units in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements, including customer, reseller, and licensing contracts
- Provide legal advice on privacy, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance issues
- Develop and improve contract templates and legal processes to enhance operational efficiency
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- Experience negotiating commercial agreements in a technology or SaaS environment
- Ability to independently manage commercial transactions and provide practical legal advice
- Preferred experience with software licensing, privacy, and information security matters
