Job Summary
To support the Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision program, the full-time Licensed Counselor Education Faculty will teach doctoral-level courses, conduct research, and mentor students while integrating Christian faith into their pedagogical approach, all in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and teach courses in an accelerated format, ensuring alignment with CACREP standards and the PhD-CES Assessment Plan
- Advise and mentor doctoral students, serving on dissertation committees and providing guidance throughout their academic journey
- Engage in professional development and scholarship activities, contributing to the mission of the university beyond the classroom
Required qualifications
- Doctoral degree in counselor education and supervision, preferably from a CACREP accredited program
- Clinical experience suitable for graduate and doctoral-level instruction
- Appropriate certification and/or licensure (e.g., LPC, LMHC) may be required for teaching specific courses
- Experience in teaching graduate-level courses and knowledge of adult learning theory
- A record of active scholarship, including peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations
