Job Summary
Providing immediate emotional support, the part-time Licensed Crisis Line Provider will engage with college students in crisis through a remote telehealth service, conducting risk assessments and recommending safety plans while maintaining clinical documentation.
Key responsibilities
- Provide warm, empathetic responses to incoming calls from students needing support or who may be in crisis
- Complete risk assessments and de-escalate crisis intensity to prevent self-harm or harm to others
- Collaborate with students to develop a plan for safety and recommend next steps
Required qualifications
- 1+ years experience practicing telehealth, crisis management, or in a call center environment
- Training and experience in assessment, crisis intervention, and treatment planning
- Ability to learn, maintain, and demonstrate mastery of clinical policy and call handling protocols
- Proven ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism
- Schedule flexibility with openness to work evenings and/or weekends
