Licensed Customs Broker

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Import Compliance Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Support customs compliance programs to ensure adherence to regulations and internal controls
• Interface with customs brokers and carriers to resolve import/export operational issues
• Conduct compliance reviews and audits, and analyze import/export data for risk and cost-saving opportunities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a science-related field or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in Trade Compliance or Brokerage environment; Licensed Customs Broker preferred
• Strong knowledge of Free Trade, Duty Drawback, HTS, and export regulations
• Familiarity with US and Canadian product regulations including FDA and EPA
• Intermediate computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications
