Job Summary
To oversee the import and export process while ensuring compliance with U.S. and foreign regulations, a full-time Licensed Customs Broker will manage customer interactions, prepare necessary documentation, and resolve issues remotely, with occasional office visits required.
Key responsibilities
- Guide customers through customs requirements by preparing and submitting documents and determining tariff and duty payments
- Recommend routing and handling for exports/imports and prepare all necessary documentation to ensure compliance
- Resolve customer problems and collaborate with other departments to pursue new sales leads and address operational issues
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Licensed Customs Broker
- 3+ years of experience in the Customs Brokerage industry
