Licensed Customs Broker Specialist

Job Summary

Leading US import operations, the remote Global Trade Principal Specialist will drive customs compliance, manage inquiries, and support enterprise-wide customs projects in a contract role.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily tactical import entry processes and ensure customs compliance across multiple sites
• Manage US Customs inquiries, data requests, and perform monthly dashboard metric analysis
• Conduct import declaration audits, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions

Required qualifications

• At least 5 years of US import/customs compliance experience, preferably in aerospace or a regulated industry
• Strong technical knowledge of US Customs regulations, including HTS classification and entry documentation
• Direct experience auditing import declarations and managing CBP inquiries
• Proficient with SAP GTS or similar global trade management systems
• Bachelor's degree with 5 years relevant experience, advanced degree with 3 years, or 9 years relevant experience without a degree
