Job Summary
Owning daily operations for customs clearance on cross-border shipments, the full-time Licensed Customs Compliance Specialist will manage compliance audits, regulatory inquiries, and client education while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Review and audit entry filings, HTS classification, and compliance risks
- Develop audit initiatives and mechanisms to resolve compliance issues
- Advise clients on import restrictions, tariffs, and customs-related matters
Required qualifications
- Experience in Trade Compliance or the Supply Chain industry as a customs agent/officer or compliance specialist
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables and data cleansing
- Experience with auditing 7501 and entry data
- Licensed customs broker or recently passed CBLE preferred
