Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time hourly capacity, a Licensed Desktop Investigator will conduct insurance and fraud investigations primarily through phone and online research, making up to 75 outbound calls daily and writing detailed reports on findings.
Key responsibilities
- Review case documentation and develop investigative strategies based on client instructions
- Conduct research using public and private databases, social media, and open-source tools
- Support field investigators by providing insights and maintaining organized case records
Required qualifications
- Hold or qualify for a valid Private Investigator's License as required by state
- Possess an associate's degree or higher (preferred)
- Demonstrate the ability to analyze and interpret complex information accurately
- Exhibit persistence and professionalism in communications with third parties
- Work independently while managing multiple cases and meeting deadlines
