Licensed Desktop Investigator

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time hourly capacity, a Licensed Desktop Investigator will conduct insurance and fraud investigations primarily through phone and online research, making up to 75 outbound calls daily and writing detailed reports on findings.

Key responsibilities

• Review case documentation and develop investigative strategies based on client instructions
• Conduct research using public and private databases, social media, and open-source tools
• Support field investigators by providing insights and maintaining organized case records

Required qualifications

• Hold or qualify for a valid Private Investigator's License as required by state
• Possess an associate's degree or higher (preferred)
• Demonstrate the ability to analyze and interpret complex information accurately
• Exhibit persistence and professionalism in communications with third parties
• Work independently while managing multiple cases and meeting deadlines
