Licensed EAP Counsellor (Portugal)

Job Summary

Providing telephonic and video counselling, the full-time Licensed EAP Counsellor (Portugal) will engage with clients in a hybrid or remote capacity, offering emotional support and crisis management while maintaining client confidentiality.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver single session counselling and crisis management in a supportive and ethical manner
• Thoroughly assess clients for appropriateness of short-term counselling and manage high-risk calls
• Maintain clear documentation and provide administrative support for service-related inquiries

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, counselling, or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in Clinical Psychology
• Membership in the Portuguese Board of Psychologists
• Fluency in Portuguese and English
• Experience in solution-focused counselling
