Licensed EAP Counselor

Job Summary

A company is looking for an EAP Clinical Counselor to provide emotional support and counseling services.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide telephonic and video counseling, crisis management, and in-the-moment support while maintaining client confidentiality
• Thoroughly assess clients for appropriateness of short-term counseling and manage high-risk calls
• Develop treatment plans and maintain clinical documentation in the case management system

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology
• Minimum of 2 years of direct client-contact experience in counseling or mental health services
• Experience with clinical assessments and short-term counseling modalities
• Training in crisis intervention and experience with high-risk clients is beneficial
• Ability to work with clients facing substance abuse, crisis situations, and mental health symptoms
