Job Summary
Providing telephonic and video counseling, the full-time Licensed EAP Counselor will engage with clients to offer emotional support and crisis management while working remotely or in a hybrid capacity, depending on proximity to the Raleigh office.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide single session telephonic and video counseling, ensuring client confidentiality and professional support
- Assess clients for appropriateness of short-term counseling and manage high-risk calls effectively
- Collaboratively develop treatment plans and maintain accurate clinical documentation in the case management system
Required qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology
- Minimum of 2 years of direct client-contact experience providing counseling or mental health services
- Experience with clinical assessment tools and short-term counseling modalities such as Solution-Focused and CBT
- Training in crisis intervention and experience supporting high-risk clients is beneficial
- Ability to work with clients facing substance abuse, crisis situations, and mental health symptoms
