Licensed Electrical Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Licensed Electrical Engineer to join the Power, Data, and Innovation team in a full-time remote role, responsible for modeling power systems, conducting technical analyses, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support decarbonization initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design, evaluate, and analyze electrical systems for corporate decarbonization pathways
• Develop and maintain transmission planning and renewable integration studies based on client requests
• Present and translate complex engineering analyses into actionable recommendations for clients and stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with experience in the electric power industry
• Proficiency in transmission models and their applications in market operations
• Experience with production-cost models for simulating generation dispatch and market clearing
• Significant modeling expertise in wholesale electricity markets and grid operations
• Multi-year experience working across multidisciplinary teams with strong communication skills
