Licensed Electrical Engineer
Job Summary
To support the TYLin Water Solutions Team, the full-time Licensed Electrical Engineer will provide electrical, communications, fire alarm, and process control design services for water and wastewater treatment facilities, while working remotely or in a hybrid capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Provide design services for electrical systems in water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and lift stations
- Prepare plans, specifications, and cost opinions for design projects, and perform field data collection
- Conduct electrical studies and computer modeling for system assessments, including short circuit and load flow analyses
Required qualifications
- B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering required
- 5-10 years of experience in power distribution design
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Experience with medium voltage electrical distribution and fire alarm systems
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; Civil 3D and REVIT skills are a plus
