Job Summary

Leading the engineering design and execution of utility-scale BESS projects, the full-time Licensed Electrical Engineer IV will manage project development from conceptualization to commissioning, ensuring compliance with industry standards while working remotely or onsite as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Lead engineering design and execution of BESS projects, overseeing all phases from development to construction
• Review and stamp electrical design packages, ensuring quality and compliance with applicable codes and standards
• Serve as the technical lead, providing guidance and mentorship to engineering teams and managing project scope, schedules, and budgets

Required qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) license in the United States
• 8+ years of experience in BESS, renewable energy, or power systems engineering
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master's Degree preferred
• Demonstrated experience as a lead engineer on utility-scale BESS projects
• Strong knowledge of industry codes, standards, and power system analysis software
