Licensed Employee Benefits Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Employee Benefits Counsel to provide legal support for employee benefit plans and programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise on employee benefits matters, including retirement and health plans
• Provide legal guidance on ERISA, the Internal Revenue Code, and related laws
• Support the design and administration of benefit plans, including compliance and regulatory inquiries

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• 5+ years of experience in employee benefits law
• Strong knowledge of ERISA and health & welfare compliance
• Ability to translate complex legal requirements into actionable advice
