Licensed Episodic Care Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Episodic Care Manager to support members with short-term behavioral health or medical needs in a fully remote, contract role.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage short-term member cases by creating tailored care plans for behavioral, medical, and social complexities
• Collaborate with inpatient facilities, outpatient providers, and community resources for smooth transitions of care
• Evaluate clinical information to determine appropriate levels of care using tools such as MCG or InterQual

Required Qualifications

• Active clinical license such as LPN, RN, LCSW, LPC, LCPC, or equivalent (compact license accepted for RNs)
• Experience working with psychiatric populations, especially in adolescent care or eating disorder treatment
• Background in inpatient care, utilization management, or residential treatment settings
• Strong ability to interpret clinical documentation and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Familiarity with utilization review tools like MCG or InterQual
