Licensed E&S Underwriter

Job Summary

Reviewing and underwriting broker submissions for new and renewal business, the full-time Licensed E&S Underwriter will ensure submission completeness, negotiate pricing, and define coverage while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Underwrite a portfolio of new and renewal business in accordance with underwriting guidelines
• Analyze policies and endorsements to identify errors and ensure alignment with applications and quotes
• Coordinate policy delivery and maintain renewal spreadsheets while servicing Account Manager inquiries

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Six (6) or more years of related work experience in the insurance industry
• Valid Insurance License with ongoing renewal requirements
• Strong knowledge of insurance industry practices
• Valid Driver's License in the state of residence
