Job Summary

Seeking a seasoned commercial lawyer, the remote-eligible Licensed Event Partnerships Counsel will draft and negotiate commercial agreements for event partnerships, advise on legal issues, and manage high-profile matters while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements related to event partnerships, including sponsorship and talent agreements
• Serve as a legal advisor for event sponsorship activations and collaborate with the broader legal team
• Monitor rights infringement and guide business teams on balancing legal risks with business goals

Required qualifications

• JD and 6+ years of relevant experience in commercial transactions, preferably in-house
• Direct experience in the sports or entertainment industries
• Knowledge of advertising law and intellectual property management
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Licensed to practice law in a U.S. state
