Licensed Freight Rail Project Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a motivated and experienced Licensed Freight Rail Project Manager, the full-time position will focus on strategic market development, business development, and client management while overseeing project execution and mentoring junior staff, with opportunities for remote work or various office locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, developing strategies to target and pursue clients and projects
• Manage full lifecycle relationships with clients, ensuring high satisfaction and leading contract negotiations
• Act as principal-in-charge or project manager, monitoring performance, managing risks, and ensuring quality deliverables

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in civil engineering design focused on freight rail projects
• Experience with delivering projects for major rail companies such as UPRR, BNSF, and CPKC
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software and effective communication skills
