Licensed General Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a General Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the chief legal advisor to the CEO and senior leadership on corporate governance and regulatory matters
• Lead and negotiate complex transactions including project finance deals and commercial contracts
• Oversee regulatory compliance and manage outside counsel across various legal specialties

Required Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• 10+ years of broad legal experience, particularly in complex transactional work
• Experience supporting high-growth, technology-driven, or capital-intensive businesses
• Strong understanding of securities law and corporate governance
• Interest in cryptocurrencies and renewable energy is required; experience is preferred
