Licensed General Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a General Counsel to provide legal expertise and support in a social impact sector focused on coffee and cocoa farmers.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on US and international operations
• Review, draft, and negotiate contracts and agreements
• Oversee data protection and compliance with international privacy laws

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience as a practicing attorney, preferably in-house at a global company
• JD or LLM from an accredited US law school
• Licensed to practice law in at least one US state and in good standing
• Understanding of software/SaaS, intellectual property, data privacy, and corporate compliance
• Experience managing international local counsel
