Licensed General Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a General Counsel to lead its legal, governance, and compliance functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain corporate legal structure and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Lead legal strategy for real estate transactions, including land acquisition and customer leasing agreements
• Advise senior leadership on legal matters and manage corporate governance and strategic transactions

Required Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and admitted to practice in at least one U.S. state
• 10+ years of broad-based legal experience, preferably in an in-house General Counsel role
• Expertise in data center leasing, land acquisition, and real estate development
• Strong knowledge of corporate governance, commercial contracts, and regulatory compliance
• Experience with energy strategy and large-scale development projects is preferred
